I tried to resist buying these thinking it was just another cheap gimmicky low quality lantern. We have just moved into a lodge in a wildlife estate and had to give into my urge for some solar lanterns by our fire pit and rim-flow pool. The photos and videos don’t do these lanterns justice. Really excellent quality and work as advertised and way better than I was hoping. We are going to order a few more. We are in love!

When we switched our standard lights off and set up the two lanterns on the pool wall the whole mood changed. There was enough light for the pool and part of our deck we ended up spending almost 1 hour in the pool. We have also placed them on the lawn which adds ambience to the warm, humid KZN north coast late summer evenings.. they are worth every cent .
